This shift in perspective highlights a broader scope, beginning with the tumult of the nations and culminating in the acknowledgment of Christ's sovereignty. The nations are presented with two distinct choices: to pledge their loyalty and "Kiss the Son" or face destruction. The decision rests with them. God has a divine plan, which may not always align with our own aspirations. I find myself, at times, attempting to dictate the trajectory of my life, including my destinations and ambitions. While planning is commendable as it reflects discipline, goal-setting, and determination, the realization of those plans ultimately lies in the hands of a providential and sovereign God.
